Giants-Vikings moved to Detroit's Ford Field on Monday night

We have a venue. And a time. Finally.
The Giants and Vikings will play in Detroit's Ford Field on Monday night, the Giants have confirmed. Kickoff of the game, which was moved from Minnesota after the roof of the Metrodome collapsed under the weight of snow, will be 7:20 p.m. Eastern time.
It will be the first Monday night game in the Detroit area since the Lions hosted the Rams on Oct. 8, 2001 at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich.
Current weather forecasts in Detroit are calling for snow and high winds through Monday afternoon, so travel could be an issue for the Giants and fans of both teams. The Giants are trying to figure out when they can get out of Kansas City.
The NFL considered playing the game at TCF Bank Stadium, where the University of Minnesota plays its home games.
"The university, however, has informed the Vikings that unfortunately its stadium was shut down for winter," league spokesman Greg Aiello said in a statement released via Twitter, "and would take several days to prepare for an NFL game."
The league is currently figuring out the ticket policy for both the game in Detroit and for those fans who held tickets for the game in Minnesota.
More coming.
